Profiles are one of the best kept secrets around in Mozilla Firefox (the browser of your choice).

In the role of web designer, I find it useful to have different Firefox extensions created to help meet the test track Google Adsense revenue, control and Ranking PageRank rating, etc. ..

However, when I am simply surfing the internet, I do not want to be weighed down by all these tools, cluttering up my status and toolbars. I like a polished browser, simple that looks good and works fast.

Fortunately, I am able to have two of these scenarios in Firefox, through the wonder of Profiles.

How do Firefox Profiles work?

Firefox allows multiple users to configure the browser to meet their own specific needs and tastes, from the themes and extensions to Bookmarks and Home Page.

At the beginning Firefox, you can choose which profile to use.

So, you can now have a profile for your web development needs, one for navigation staff, and even one of the kids (allowing you to increase Firefox's security measures).

Each profile is independent of the others, so it is like have a new installation for each user.

How I can activate Firefox Profiles?

1. First, find the Firefox shortcut on your desktop (or create one from the. exe).

2. Click it and select Properties.

3. Finally, in the Target box, add '-P' without the apostrophe from the end of the line (to read something like "C: Program FilesMozillaFirefoxfirefox.exe-p ') and click OK.

Now when you start Firefox through this shortcut you will be prompted with the Profiles Manager box (as long as you do not have an instance of Firefox open). Everything is self-explanatory in this regard.

To accelerate implementation, I suggest that you keep two shortcuts on the desktop – one to load Firefox as normal, and this new

I'm always looking for good browsers, but I always find one that is not right for me. Firefox and Chrome are my favorites. Chrome is faster, but Firefox is more customizable. With the two browsers can install add-ons, plugins and themes, and both have particular ways. Chrome does not have an integrated RSS reader, but Firefox. Judging from the list of features, I think Firefox is a better browser for you.
