Design and Development?

I'm taking a certificate in Web Design and Development of an accredited online university. Will I be able to enter in this industry? Can anyone comment on their experience on wages with the certificate and experiences later? Eventually going for my degree, but would like to enter the industry first. Geographic Region: Southern Alberta.

Education is one of the two lines on page 2 curriculum vitae. It takes up to 1 minute of a 30-minute interview. That will give you an idea of the relevance of school material in the workplace is real. school is good for learning the basics, but not the decisive factor if employed or not. I am a web application architect recruited before many people. If you want to impress an employer do the following: 1) have a good portfolio of projects – if they have no work experience, then the development of volunteer projects for friends. Employers will be impressed by their commitment and sacrifice. Tell employers up, "I have not worked in a company before I am in the beginning of my career. But the job hard and I have potential as demonstrated by my web portfolio of charity for nonprofit organizations, family and friends. I am always willing to sacrifice for my career and for company I work -. "2) network with industry people go to conferences and events and meet professionals in the field. Tell them you are a student, and wants advice on how to improve their skills. If points 1 and 2, you'll have no problem getting a job. By the time you graduate, you can even have the enough experience to start their own business web.
