"I can get a job in web development with a different degree?
I am graduating in six months with a degree in music and am looking for something creative I can do with my major outside of music. I took a design class flash of last season and loved it. But I wonder if I have to return to school in another grade or if there is a way around it.
Web development work, and Flash are hired largely on the skills test. If you can get a set impressive showing their skills and knowledge are what the employer is looking for then you have a good chance of getting the job. However, with a single class under your belt, there is a good chance that people who have been doing this work for a while might have better skills and portfolios. And if that is the case, you may be able to find an entry level job at a web company, while improving their skills in their own time.
