Everyone I know has downloaded a free copy of Mozilla Firefox, but few realize that when you install some of the 1,500 free extensions that can eliminate the need for most other applications that currently use. The following are extensions of my 13 favorite web professionals (in any particular order):
HTML Validator: http://users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/ – Validate web pages to W3C HTML standards with a simple green check in the corner of the page if the page validates, a red check if not, and a yellow exclamation mark if there are warnings. It also includes an improved light source that allows you to see where the errors in the code.
FireFTP: https: / / addons.mozilla.org/firefox/684 / – Free Platform, secure, cross-FTP client that allows easy and intuitive access to FTP servers. This removes a piece of software for those of you who use a separate program for FTP.
Teacher X: https: / / addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2823 / – View information bedside without having to view source. The page "slides" down and Professor X shows the element content of the head of the page including Target, writing style and content.
